How VLABS, LLC collects, safeguards, and minimizes user data across the VRIL/eSIM global connectivity platform, APIs, and client applications.
01.Corporate Entity & Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the services, websites, mobile interfaces, and APIs provided by VLABS, LLC, a Delaware Limited Liability Company ("Company," "VRIL/eSIM," "we," "us," or "our").
We respect your privacy and are committed to data minimization principles under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the Delaware Online Privacy and Protection Act (DOPPA), and international telecommunications data safety directives.
02.Information We Collect & Data Minimization
We operate under a strict principle of data minimization: we collect only what is strictly required to provision GSMA remote SIM profiles, manage order billing, and route telecommunications traffic.
Authentication is managed via secure authentication providers (Clerk / Whop). We store your email address and unique account ID. No government IDs or physical addresses are collected for data-only eSIM profiles unless mandated by local in-country regulations.
Processed exclusively via PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant partners (Stripe, Whop) and decentralized cryptocurrency processors (CoinPayments). VLABS, LLC never stores or handles raw payment card numbers or cryptocurrency private keys.
To monitor connection health, we process technical SIM metadata: ICCID, activation code status, country ISO codes, aggregate data consumption (MB/GB), and carrier connection timestamps.
We do not inspect, log, or store your application payload data, browsing history, DNS queries, or communications. Customer IP traffic traverses encrypted wholesale mobile gateways directly.
03.How We Use Your Data
- eSIM Provisioning: Transmitting necessary profile parameters (ICCID, Matching ID, SM-DP+ routing) to download and activate the cellular profile on your unlocked device.
- Dual-Carrier Failover & Telemetry: Evaluating carrier status metrics to perform automatic routing failover between upstream Tier-1 carrier networks.
- Quota & Lifeline Management: Monitoring balance usage to trigger low-balance warnings and throttle to the Emergency WhatsApp & Maps Lifeline corridor upon plan exhaustion.
- Transaction Fulfillment & Invoicing: Generating digital receipts, managing customer subscriptions, and servicing reseller balance accounting.
04.No Sale or Commercial Transfer of Personal Information
VLABS, LLC does not sell, rent, or trade personal data or cellular telemetry. We do not share your information with third-party advertisers, data aggregators, or behavioral tracking networks.
Data disclosure is strictly limited to: (a) downstream GSMA SM-DP+ carrier clearinghouses required to provision cellular service, (b) certified payment gateways for transaction clearing, and (c) lawful subpoenas or warrants issued by a court of competent jurisdiction under US Delaware and Federal law.
05.Cookies, Storage & Telemetry
We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage tokens to preserve your authenticated user session, preferred locale, and shopping cart state. First-party anonymous performance telemetry (Vercel Speed Insights) is utilized to ensure fast global page delivery without cross-site tracking.
06.Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Regardless of your citizenship or geographic location, VLABS, LLC extends the following rights to all registered users:
- Right of Access: Request a complete export of your personal data and SIM transaction history.
- Right to Rectification: Update inaccurate account credentials or billing email addresses.
- Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request permanent deletion of your profile and data records, subject to telecommunications regulatory retention mandates.
- Right to Restrict or Object: Restrict non-essential telemetry or communications.
