Question 1

How does VRIL/eSIM delivery and activation work?

Accepted Answer

eSIM profiles are provisioned instantaneously upon checkout. You receive a high-resolution QR code on screen and via email, plus a 1-tap iOS direct LPA activation link. Setup takes less than 30 seconds without removing your physical SIM.

Question 2

How does VRIL/eSIM compare to Saily and Airalo?

Accepted Answer

Unlike single-carrier providers like Saily and Airalo, VRIL/eSIM utilizes dual-upstream Tier-1 carrier redundancy for automated regional failover and lowest local latency. VRIL also includes a free emergency WhatsApp/Maps lifeline when data depletes, instant web checkout without app download requirements, and full developer REST API access.

Question 3

What is the Emergency WhatsApp and Maps Lifeline?

Accepted Answer

If your prepaid high-speed 5G quota reaches 0 MB while traveling, VRIL/eSIM automatically maintains throttled connectivity (64-128 kbps) for text-based WhatsApp messaging and navigation map routing so you are never stranded.

Question 4

Which devices are compatible with VRIL/eSIM?

Accepted Answer

All carrier-unlocked eSIM-compatible smartphones, including Apple iPhone XS through iPhone 16 Pro Max, Google Pixel 3 through Pixel 9 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S20 through S25 Ultra, and compatible iPad / Android tablets.

Question 5

Can I top up my data while traveling without reinstalling?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All eSIM plans support top-ups directly via your user dashboard or through a one-click top-up link without scanning a new QR code.

Question 6

How does the Developer API authentication work?

Accepted Answer

Our v1 REST API uses HMAC-SHA256 request signatures and Bearer API keys generated in your developer dashboard. It enables programmatic plan search, order fulfillment, and real-time SIM data queries.

Question 7

What is the VRIL/eSIM refund guarantee?

Accepted Answer

We offer a 100% money-back guarantee within 30 days of purchase for any unactivated, unscanned eSIM profile with 0 MB consumed, plus full replacement or refund in the event of unresolved upstream carrier technical outages.
